Nacole & Doug’s Elopement at the Speckled Hen

It was a beautiful October Saturday, and Nacole and Doug enjoyed a lovely fall afternoon saying their vows at
The Speckled Hen Inn. I am so glad they found me and invited me to enjoy their intimate day with them! I love elopements, and not only for the relaxed and shorter day of work. I really do adore the opportunity to be with my bride and groom without the pressure of a hectic schedule and a long guest list. We get to be a bit more relaxed. We get to go at our own pace, explore where we want to, and have a ton of fun before they head off on a casual wedding night dinner.
Nacole and Doug's day was absolutely perfect. The weather was nice, the fall colors came out to play, and the scenery was stunning!

My friend Julie of
Julie's Flowers put together a cute little bouquet for Nacole and helped with her hair. Thanks, Julie!

I did nothing to alter this fun heart-shaped leaf... It just fell off the tree like this! Isn't it great?!

The couple enjoyed a quick first look before walking to their sunny ceremony site together.

This is such a BEAUTIFUL little scene for a small ceremony!

Nacole & Doug's matching tattoos say "family" and "love." So lovely.

Thank you so much, guys, for inviting me along on your Madison elopement. It was so beautiful, and a great tribute to your family! I'm grateful to have gotten to know you guys and been a part of your day!
