Jenna & Daniel traveled from the East Coast to celebrate their wedding with Jenna's family. What a gorgeous, sunny, summer day they had! The ceremony was intimate in a light-filled Catholic church, followed by cocktails and a delicious dinner at the Driftless Cafe in Viroqua. We enjoyed a leisurely drive through the rolling hills of one of the prettiest areas of Wisconsin as we casually pulled off at a couple roadside portrait spots. It was a perfect way to be married with just enough flair, but not too much pomp and circumstance. They kept the celebration intimately focused on their closest family and friends. The details were infused with their fun and light-hearted personalities!
I loved this thoughtful gift that Jenna gave to Daniel as they prepared to see one another in the church: these superhero Pez dispensers were a cute way to be sure Daniel's blood sugar stayed where it needed to throughout the day!
Red shoes on my bride AND my groom? Yes please! With a matching superhero garter to boot!Jenna's dad is a HOOT and kept everyone smiling and laughing all day long. I love that Jenna had a few moments to spoil her parents before they gave her away. That LIGHT. That beautiful light! This fish mural on the side of the Driftless cracks me up. So glad that Jenna & Daniel thought it was as fun as I did.More geeky details! I love it!One of the guests asked us to be a little sneaky and snap this shot of Jenna & Daniel with the painting behind them on the wall. I was told it was going to be gifted to the couple after the wedding, and now they have a photograph of it from their wedding day!Thank you, Jenna & Daniel, for inviting my red shoes to join your red shoes as you began your super-fun adventure as SuperHubby and WonderWife!
